A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) is certified to practice by the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) in Olympia, Washington.

NTPs make client specific nutrition recommendations to restore balance and create optimal wellness within the body rather than diagnosing or treating specific diseases.

NTPs work from a “foundational” and “bio-individual” perspective addressing the following:

• Properly-prepared, nutrient-dense, whole food diet
• Digestion
• Fatty Acid Balance
• Blood Sugar Regulation
• Mineral Balance
• Hydration

Just as each house needs a balanced foundation tailored to it’s unique environment, so does the body.

NTPs utilize numerous tools in order to uncover each client’s nutritional needs in order to restore balance to the “Foundations”. These tools include: health and lifestyle questionnaires and quizzes, food journals, and a hands-on functional evaluations utilizing reflex points and lingual-neuro testing.

As an NTP, it is my goal to educate my clients on how to listen to their body’s signals and to empower them in supporting their bodies with delicious, nourishing foods that are right for their unique needs.
