For as long as I can remember, I struggled with chronic debilitating migraines that plagued my life and dictated my every move.

I was at a very low place in my life and couldn't imagine I would ever be well. I had two beautiful children that I could barely take care of and a career in Nursing that was demanding more than my body could perform. But I know God had other plans for me....bigger plans, better plans.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

I believe He led me to functional and integrative holistic medicine where I learned about the body and how intelligently it is designed. I learned about food and how it interacts with our intelligently designed body. And sadly, I realized that I had been feeding my body food that it was never designed to eat. My food choices were making and keeping me sick. My migraines were mere clues to what was going on inside my body not my diagnosis.

I learned that the journey to becoming wholly well is not a quick and easy fix. We are up against a plethora of misinformation and the medical model is just not set up to help people get well. I've learned that our bodies are intelligently designed to heal if we give them the proper nutrition that is necessary and originally created for our nourishment to thrive. It is my personal mission to share my wellness recovery with others, which utilizes God's provisions in the most natural forms such as real, nutrient dense nutrition and plant based medicine like essential oils and supplemental nutrition when necessary.

As a Registered Nurse and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I help people restore health to the fundamental systems of the body. There is no one perfect diet for anyone, we are all bio-individualistic and what is right for one person will not be right for another. Each person is created differently (and beautifully) and our bodies behave and respond differently to stressors. Becoming aware of your body and its responses is the first step to understanding what is right for you. Together we can address the foundations of health so that the whole body can benefit from wellness. Areas of specialty are digestive problems including irritable bowel syndrome,  gluten-sensitivities and Celiac disease, hormone imbalances such as hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's, fertility struggles including polycystic ovarian syndrome and autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Health is a state of body. Wellness is a state of being. -J. Standford
